Same as it ever was…..

I spent the morning paddling Ellerbe Creek and found pretty much what I was expecting.  As much as things change they always seem the same. Very disheartening.

Until next time…………………

A Lovely Day For A Paddle

I spent Saturday morning cleaning up Ellerbe Creek with some amazing people!

In the three  hours we were able to collect thirty  bags of trash, recyclables and other assorted oddities.

What’s in your water?

I spent the day paddling around the upper sections of Falls Lake  near Ellerbe Creek and not to my surprise trash was everywhere.  This load only took me about 30 minutes to collect and bag.

This sure made for an interesting paddle back to Hickory Hill boat ramp.

Happy 2011

A new year equals a new adventure for River Bottle Blues.  Stay tuned.
